What makes us so different?

We've compared, but compare for yourself and then join the fun!

We don’t have hidden charges and extra fees for “special” activities. It’s all included in our price with no surprises!

This is our number one priority and we know it is yours too! We make every effort to ensure your child is safe and cared for just as if it were you watching over them.  Our day camp is nationally accredited through American Camp Association ensuring the best practices in camping.

At our week long traditional camp we intentionally capitalize on every game, physical challenge, and free time to encourage values and positive character traits. We want your child to benefit from their experience long after camp is over. For example: COURAGE is built on the climbing wall, TEAMWORK and COMMUNICATION are learned while canoeing, TRUST and PROBLEM SOLVING are encouraged during cabin time. Bottom line: While other camps offer mindless games...WE HAVE FUN WITH A PURPOSE!

Your child’s time at Camp Courage is more meaningful because of our low leader to camper ratio. One leader for every eight to ten campers compared to their 12 to 20. Our dedicated staff begins to prepare for camp months in advance. We take them through an extensive week of leadership and safety training. Then they pour all their preparation and training into your child at ONE INCREDIBLE CAMP EVENT! ONE WEEK with ONE group of kids! Plus, our volunteer staff don’t see camp as a “summer job” they see it as a unique opportunity to make a positive difference in each camper’s life ....and to be Christians living out their own faith with courage.

It’s been said you can discover more about someone in an hour of play than in a year of conversation. Creating great memories, stories, and friends for life come naturally at Camp Courage USA.

We create super amazing games for team and individual play, we provide great music with a live band, a daily inspirational messages, air- conditioned dorms, tasty home-cooked meals, and a back-up plan for rainy days!

Our adventure day camps are uniquely designed to be engaging and campers want to return week after week.  We use the local school facility for base camp and then create a new adventure each day.  We sing on the bus as we travel to hike, canoe, kayak, roller-skate, fish or swim.  Each week a special field trip is added to the schedule that is unique to that week.  At our basecamp we have an interactive game room, legos, reading spot, crafts, gymnasium and archery range. We are confident that your camper will have a blast during their summer vacation!

Other camps are stuck in a rut.... BREAK FREE to Camp Courage USA and discover the difference for yourself!

Ronnie & Jennifer, with their 3 boys, Clayton, Kyle, and Samuel

My name is Ronnie Hayes and I am the Director of Camp Courage. My wife, Jennifer, and I live in Owasso, Oklahoma and we have three sons, Clayton, Kyle, and Samuel. Together, we have been mentoring kids and teens for more than 20 years.

Camp Courage is an independent Christian camp that is supported by individuals from all over the United States. We endeavor to encourage character in kids and teens through basic biblical principles. You should expect the highest quality care and professionalism as we work to provide an awesome camp experience for your child. Our team is committed to building the whole person through the daily demonstration of positive character qualities such as integrity, respect, honesty, compassion, service, and responsibility. Our staff to camper ratio is 1 to 8 to ensure good communication, character development, and quality personal involvement.

Growing up in today's youth culture is tougher than it has ever been and we want to assist you towards helping your child successfully navigate the course set before them. We accomplish this by providing safe, adventurous programming and enlisting quality, committed volunteers who undergo a comprehensive background check. Something unique and powerful happens when kids turn off the TV, pluck out the earphones, set down the game controller to spend some time in the great outdoors. The camp experience is one of a kind and I believe one of the greatest opportunities in a young person's life. I want your kids to have an amazing and memorable camp experience. A week at Camp Courage is filled with traditional camp fun, adventure, friends, and an encouraging message of hope! I look forward to personally meeting you and your child. Let the adventure begin!

Our Belief

Our Belief

Character - Courage - Camp

The programs and activities governing the ministries and practices of By Faith Youth Ministries, Inc., are based upon and will at all times be consistent with the principles and guidelines of the Christian Bible. Our intention is to introduce positive and life-changing character qualities that will shape a young person's heart in a rewarding manner for a lifetime. Our belief is that the standard to discover these principles is through the person of Jesus Christ and through the written word of scripture.

We endeavor to teach these principles through affirming words of encouragement that come from a caring trustworthy adult. All of the activities are designed with the intent of allowing the child to discover these qualities on his or her own terms. In other words, we will not force or coerce any child to believe or act upon anything that they are not ready for or do not want to do by their own volition. We want each child to have the freedom of discovering Truth on their own terms and in their own way.
